The environmental seal on the MK17 Evo means that no water enters the first stage, so it’s the ideal regulator for murky or cold waters as all the internal parts are completely sealed off to prevent freeze and free flowing! The S600 with its lightweight fiberglass casing and metal valve housing is Scubapro’s most popular second stage for a reason! Because of the condensation on the inside, the reg allows you to breathe moist air (no more dry mouths from breathing from a plastic regulator!).
